Hi, I'm Joan Kennedy. I manage this farm and will be one of your supervisors. Mick, my partner, is your other supervisor. The learning materials in this Toolbox are all set on our farm, and, as your supervisors, Mick and I will guide you through the tasks you do here. I've been a farmer for more than twelve years. The last five years, we've been farming fish, marron, yabbies and redclaw, and its been a pretty good living. Makes a change from traditional farming anyway. Here's Mick. 
G'day! It's good to have you with us. Mick McDonald's my name and I'm your other supervisor on this farm. I'll be working with Joan to show you the ropes around here. Joan and I have been running this fish farm for nearly five years. We started out as traditional crop farmers, but decided that we might give aquaculture a try. We've done quite well by it, so we reckon we'll be sticking to it for quite a while yet. Right, Joan's asked me to show you around the farm. We've got about twenty hectares, and eight ponds stocked with fin fish and crustaceans. Come on, let's have a look around, eh? |
