This CD covers two topics: Mondo da vivere explores various aspects of youth culture both in Italy and in Australia. Vivere Bene explores the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Rapporti

Rapporti is about relationships – explored from the student’s perspective and that of their Italian teenage counterparts. The three-CD set comprises learners’ and teachers’ resources and an audio CD.

Andiamo

Andiamo is about travel. It explores the exciting world of travel and holiday experiences from the perspective of young people. Students will plan a vacation in Italy, examine the local area as a destination for young Italian travellers, use online blogs to share personal travel experiences, discover the Italian presence in their local area and develop links with the local Italian community.

This unit consists of the following six topics:

Made in Italy

The focus for this unit is Made in Italy. Students explore the trends in Italy and the importance of these in the establishment of identity. They evaluate the place of things Italian in their day to day life and explore the impace of Italy, Italians and Italian-speaking communities of the world.

The Audio CD contains audio tracks from the Made in Italy CD.

The Teacher Resource CD contains the audio scripts for the audio/video files and sample assessment outlines.

In ‘…e poi?’ students will reflect on personal and cultural identity, discuss aspirations and plans for the future and explore future study, employment and travel opportunities. They will examine issues that face the world and initiatives to address them both in local environment and globally. Modern technology allows them to be transported into the heart of Italian life, thus providing them with the current Italian reality.

The unit consists of the following five topics:
