Recognition of Prior Learning Assessment Tool Kits

The Department of Education and Training has a commitment to support trainers and assessors in Western Australia through quality RPL Assessment resources and programs promoting good practice.   Part of this commitment has been the development of task based, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment Tool Kits for a range of qualifications in skills shortage areas.

These RPL Assessment Tool Kits streamline and simplify the recognition processes for students and existing workers through this holistic approach.

These RPL Assessment Tool Kits have been produced with the assistance of funding provided by the Council of Australian Government (COAG) National Reform Initiative (NRI).

It is recommended that before any of the kits are used that they be validated to ensure that they meet Australian Qualification Training Framework Standards (AQTF), relevant Training Package requirements and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) policies.
