The Department of Education and Training aims to provide all Western Australians with lifelong training and employment opportunities. It is also responsible for planning the long term development of the State's training system to meet the current and future needs of industry, the community and regional areas.

AEShareNet

WestOne Services is the administering body for intellectual property and copyright issues for public providers in Western Australia. As such WestOne is the representative for Western Australia on the AEShareNet membership group. WestOne is able to contribute to AEShareNet on behalf of the Western Australian vocational education and training sector.

Australian Training Products (ATP)

WestOne Services, as the centre for education and training resources in Western Australia, is proud to announce a new partnership with Australian Training Products (ATP).

ATP is the national publisher and distributor of endorsed Training Packages and Training Package Support Materials on behalf of the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA).

ATP has appointed WestOne Services as the sole Training Resource Centre for the state, undertaking the provisioning and servicing of ATP's products throughout the Western Australian region.

2006 Australian Flexible Learning Framework

The 2006 Australian Flexible Learning Framework (2006 Framework) provides the vocational education and training (VET) system with e-learning skills, professional development opportunities, products, resources and support networks to meet today's increasingly technology-driven learning environment.

The Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST)

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Friday 22nd October, the responsibilities and functions of the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA) have now been transferred to the Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST). Information previously located on the ANTA website is now located on the DEST website.

EdNA Online

This website is a gateway to resources and services in education and training.

National Training Information System

The National Training Information Service (NTIS)  has been developed by ANTA (now DEST) to provide access to current and emerging training market information and products in VET.

Career Development Centre 

The site provides information about training and further education courses, particularly TAFE; how to get any other qualifications and skills recognised and how to go about looking for work or making a career change.
