Corporate History

WestOne Services is funded by the Western Australian State Government and operates as a service unit of the Department of Education and Training. Since its inception in 1999, WestOne has built a reputation both nationally and internationally for its range and quality of learning materials and services.

From this solid foundation of vocational education and training products and services (including career development resources), WestOne has moved into the development of curriculum resources for the schools market. K-12 Curriculum Resources are developed  in a range of media including online, vision, and print.

Our core business draws upon our abilities to implement policy into practice and foster best practice through products into practice. Within the scope of our core business, WestOne also develops and manages significant intellectual property that has value in the broader education and training sectors.
